I always come here for dimsum when visiting Vancouver for some cheap but quality dimsum.
Parking on weekends in the attached parking lot can get pretty full (street parking is available for free on weekends, if you're willing to walk a bit). The food here is relatively cheap, and they have some insane deals on the weekday if you come by before 10am.
Service is quick and efficient, and you're sure to get your fill of food. For 2-3 people, expect to pay about $40-$50 for a meal with left overs.
Highly recommend, as one of the few dim sum locations with decent parking and a convenient location within Richmond! -

Came here for my Grandpa's birthday dinner and the servers were quick but were very confused and could not handle the amount of customers they had. The worst part was that they had no idea whether we had received our fried rice at the end of our meal due to miscommunication between the waiters. Due to the miscommunication they served us our dessert soup and took away all our dishes.
When we told them we had not received the rice the servers did not believe us and requested to search our takeout containers to check if we had rice in them. I've never been bag checked at a restaurant before so this was a first. This encounter made everyone at the table very upset and the waiters did not apologize. When they did finally serve us, the fried rice was smaller than other tables and very bland. The red bean soup was also very burnt tasting.
Overall the food was also very average and nothing special. The service and communication definitely needs improvement. -

Sea Fortune Restaurant 海洋皇宮酒樓 is located in a small plaza with limited parking.
This place serves very wonderful dim sum. If you like Chinese cuisine, you should try their Steamed Pork Shiu-Mai with #truffle 黑松露燒賣). My favourite is #dessert 甜點(egg yolk custard bun 流沙包 and sponge cake 馬拉糕).
Food: Should Try! 4/5
Service: 4/5
Price: $30-$50 for two (lunch-dimsum)
Kids: 5/5 Woohoo! (Most kids love meat balls and BBQ pork buns)
Presentation: 4/5
Parking: 2/5
Explore the menu: Steamed Prawn Dumpling, Steamed Pork Shiu-Mai with Truffle, Steamed golden Egg Yolk Custard Bun. Steamed Sponge Cake with Custard Sugar, Red Rice Roll with Chinese Donut
Tips:
*has 20% off if placing order before 11AM daily; has 10% off from 11AM-3PM

Came here on a Saturday for dim sum with family. We picked this place out of recommendations from a friend. The restaurant was super busy and you do have to make a reservation if you are planning to have dim sum here. If you dine in before a certain time, you do get discounts (I believe). Probably have to come before 11 am or pay before 11 am. It will be safer if you double check.
Anyways we ordered quite a lot of dim sum here:
-beef rice rolls
-shrimp rice rolls
-steamed bean curb beef wrap
-spring roll,
-shrimp dumpling
-chicken bun
-spareribs
-fried taro
-turnip cake
-desserts
The food was so so. For Richmond standards, its kind of low. I mean it is cheaper than elsewhere.
Parking is crazy and almost impossible to find a parking spot if you come between 11 am and 1 pm. After 1 pm, the restaurant's tables start to clear up and this means cars starts leaving their parking lot too. Note: it cost to park on the side streets.
I don't think I will come back. I am not a big of fan of its old restaurant Imperial Court and so I won't be a fan of their new restaurant under a new name Sea Fortune. -

Same owners as Imperial Court Restaurant in Richmond before they were vacated due to construction. The food is delicious. Large proportions per plate. Price is roughly $20 and up. The ambiance is nice. Room is quite bright as the chandelier in the room is lit up. Big screen tv in the back wall playing Chinese show. Bathroom is clean which says a lot about their kitchen. An important aspect is the room has air condition. A variety of liquor on the wall both western and eastern taste.
Good: sweet and sour pork with lychee 9/10, sautéed squid with vegetable in shrimp paste 10/10 (I might be bias but I love shrimp paste) and steamed chicken with wolf berry and red dates 10/10. Free WIFI. Password is 6042732028
Bad: service is hit and miss. You need to flag them to get their attention. Spoken language are Mandarin or Cantonese with a lack of English. Some assistant managers and waiters/waitress does speak a little bit of English.
Ambiance: 8.5/10
Clean bathroom 8/10
All the above was experienced during their dinner session.
